‘Do Not Drop Those Bombs’: Trump Lashes Out Amid Iran-Israel Ceasefire Tensions

Is President playing referee in a dangerous game of missiles and miscommunication?

Hours after touting a ceasefire between and Israel, the president exploded on social media, accusing both sides of breaking the deal immediately after it was signed.

Speaking to reporters before heading to NATO, Trump said, “We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f— they’re doing.”

He later took to Truth Social with an all-caps plea: “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!”

Trump credited Israeli planes for turning back and even offered a bizarre line about them doing a friendly plane wave to Iran. This comes after Iran launched missiles at a U.S. military base in retaliation for America’s bombing of three nuclear sites in Iran.

So the U.S. is already in this fight, whether the administration admits it or not. Now Congress is prepping for a closed-door briefing, and behind the scenes, Trump reportedly spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as he tries to keep both sides from going nuclear — literally.
