In Baltimore, the average price for regular unleaded gasoline is $3.67 per gallon, a decrease from $3.79 a month ago. Diesel prices in Baltimore are currently averaging $3.99 per gallon, down from $4.04 last month.

Ocean City, a popular tourist destination and beach town, is also seeing a similar trend, with regular unleaded gas prices averaging around $3.66 per gallon.

Diesel fuel in Maryland averages $4.03 per gallon, slightly lower than the $4.09 per gallon reported a month ago. Compared to last year, the average price for diesel was $3.87; the current price shows a marginal increase.

This year, Maryland’s gasoline tax is 42 cents per gallon, making it one of the highest states in the country for fuel taxes. Time will tell if the gas prices will impact summer travel.
