Harris Camp Details 4-Step Plan to Winning the White House

Vice President Kamala Harris is now the Democrat’s presumptive nominee for president, and the campaign has come out with a memo detailing a four-step guide to how she can win the presidency.

The plan includes consolidating the base with strong outreach to Black, Latino, Asian American, Native American, and Hispanic Islander voters. They say Harris has a 44 net approval rating among Black voters and leads Trump by 54 points. She’s also significantly ahead among young voters by 25 points.

Step two is expanding the coalition. They’re not stopping at just holding the base, but also targeting voters who have shifted towards Democrats since 2020. That includes white, college-educated voters and voters over 65.

Step three: mobilizing the undecided. The campaign recognizes that about 7 percent of voters are still undecided. They are disproportionately Black, Latino, and under 30.

The last step is focusing in on key states. The campaign is targeting the blue wall states like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania, as well as Sunbelt states like North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada.
