Top scams and consumer complaints revealed
Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul is highlighting the top scams and consumer complaints that affected Illinoisans in 2023.
Last year, the Attorney General’s Office received more than 19,000 written complaints, along with tens of thousands of phone calls. The top three categories of scams and consumer complaints were construction and home improvement repairs, identity theft and consumer debt.
Lollapalooza to announce lineup
Chicago’s premier summer music festival will be revealing the 2024 lineup in the coming days. Lollapalooza organizers said the lineup will drop on Tuesday, March 19.
The company behind the festival has agreed to a 10-year contract with Chicago, keeping the event in the city for at least another decade. Headliners last year included Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Chicago among most stressful cities
A new study has found that Chicago is one of the most stressful cities in the country.
According to the business resource LLC.org, Chicago’s long commutes and low year-over-year income growth places it as the eighth most stressful city in the U.S.
Detroit was ranked as the most stressful city, followed by Baltimore and Stockton, California.
