Protests in Los Angeles over President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown entered a third day on Sunday, with more demonstrations expected, according to The New York Times.

Trump deployed 2,000 National Guard troops to the city — against Gov. Gavin Newsom’s objections — though many troops kept their distance as federal agents and clashed with protesters. leaders, including Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, condemned the deployment as inflammatory.
