Muhammad Ali To Be Honored With USPS Forever Stamp

(AURN News) — According to the Associated Press, the U.S. Postal Service will honor Muhammad Ali with a commemorative Forever Stamp, marking the first time the boxing legend has appeared on U.S. postage.

Widely regarded as the most influential boxer of all time, Ali is being recognized not only for his athletic greatness but for his cultural, political, and humanitarian impact.

The stamp features a black-and-white 1974 Associated Press photo of Ali in his iconic boxing pose, along with a second image highlighting his life beyond the ring.

A first-day-of-issue ceremony is scheduled for Thursday in Louisville, Kentucky, Ali’s hometown.

Twenty-two million stamps have been printed and will not be reissued once sold out. Because it is a Forever Stamp, the postage will remain valid indefinitely, cementing Ali’s enduring legacy.
