MyPillow CEO Lindell announces run for Minnesota governor

(The Center Square) – MyPillow Chief Executive Officer Mike Lindell is running for Minnesota governor.

Lindell joins a group of candidates looking to unseat current Democratic Gov. Tim Walz that includes Speaker of the House Lisa Demuth, 2022 candidate and former state senator Scott Jensen, state Rep. Kristin Robbins, 2022 candidate Kendall Qualls and attorney Chris Madel.

“I’ll stand for you against the rampant fraud under Governor Walz,” Lindell said in a campaign announcement. “I’ll stand with you against the crime that threatens the safety of you and your families. I’ll stand for you against government-sponsored theft of your livelihood via exploding property taxes, excessive fees, and unfair sales taxes.”

Lindell has been a supporter of President Donald Trump and has made repeated claims of fraud related to the 2020 elections including losing a lawsuit saying he defamed an employee of Dominion Voting Services, owing him $2.3 million.

Another jury ruled that Lindell defamed Smartmatic.

We’ve seen what happens when we elect a con man to the highest office in America. We can’t let it happen here in Minnesota. https://t.co/iH3aqzT8RR— Tim Walz (@Tim_Walz) December 11, 2025
