‘No Kings’ Rising: 8 Million Americans Say Enough

(AURN News) — The “No Kings” rally this weekend was massive, with organizers saying more than 8 million people showed up at demonstrations in all 50 states — breaking the record for the largest single-day turnout the country has seen.

Organizers said more than 3,300 events took place across the nation, dwarfing protests from last year.

In Minnesota, activists packed St. Paul, where between 100,000 and 200,000 people gathered, drawn to the city after Renee Good and Alex Preti were shot and killed by federal agents in January.

The anger centers on three issues: people are furious about the president’s overreach, pushing back against the military presence in American cities and frustrated by the war in Iran.

But this is not over. Organizers are calling for another nationwide event on March 31, followed by local meetings through April. In May, they are planning another push.
