OkayplayerGO’s CFB 25 Challenge Hosted by iPodKingCarter

Okayplayer has officially announced an exciting collaboration with American Urban Radio Networks (AURN) and AURNGaming to launch OkayplayerGO, a new initiative that merges the worlds of music, culture, and gaming. The partnership has already gained momentum with the successful completion of its second gaming tournament: OkayplayerGO CFB 25 Challenge hosted by the popular gaming influencer iPodKingCarter, with a $1,000 prize pool up for grabs. This collaboration showcased the community OkayplayerGO is here to stay.

Held over two days, the tournament had a total of 214 players who registered and battled for the top 2 spots. The final day, hosted live by iPodKingCarter on @okayplayerGO Twitch, was streamed live from the Okayplayer Lounge in Brooklyn, NY, offering the viewers an engaging experience. The competition was fierce, with the winner taking home $750 and the runner-up receiving $250. As OkayplayerGO continues to grow, this partnership with AURN promises to bring more exciting gaming events and opportunities to the community, blending the rich cultural legacy of Okayplayer with the dynamic world of gaming.

In the intense quarterfinals, four contestants remained, each competing for a spot in the finals. After fierce competition, only two players advanced: @supersmash104 and @LockaMojr, both coming in with an impressive 6-0 record. The finals were set as a best-of-three series, with each player bringing their A-game and trying to bring home that $750 first prize.

@supersmash104 chose to stick with the Texas Longhorns for both games, displaying consistency and strategy. On the other hand, @LockaMojr initially selected the Alabama Crimson Tide for the first match. After a tough loss, he switched tactics for the second game, choosing to run with the Georgia Bulldogs (which is the best overall team in the game). The stage was set for an epic showdown between these two skilled players. The last game ended in a score of 24-14, with @supersmash104 taking home the first place cash prize as well as bragging rights.
