Podcast Empowers Women to Rise Above Adversity

DALLAS, TX (AURN News) – A millennial minister’s podcast is making waves across generations, inspiring women to overcome life’s challenges through the power of shared testimonies. Teara Randall, 35, founded “Women Who Rise” in May 2022 at the age of 33. The podcast, which has amassed nearly 6,500 followers on Facebook, features real-life stories of women who have triumphed over obstacles ranging from depression and divorce to illness and poverty.

“The goal is simply to share our testimony and help them to rise so,” Randall explained in a recent interview with American Urban Radio Networks. “Whatever circumstance they’re in, whatever life has hit them with, whatever they feel like they can’t rise from.”

Randall, a licensed minister since 2019, says she was divinely inspired to start the podcast while seeking ways to expand her ministry. “God laid it on my heart. He was like, you can help women rise,” she recounted.

The Houston native believes the podcast’s success stems from its authenticity. “They’re tired of fake, they’re tired of gimmicks, games. They’re tired of lies,” Randall said of her audience. “People lying to them and they’re looking for something real.”

Surprisingly, the podcast has attracted a growing male viewership and reaches listeners in multiple countries. Randall expressed shock at its broad appeal, saying, “I never thought in a million years that…we’re almost at 6,500 followers.”

Looking ahead, Randall hopes to expand “Women Who Rise” beyond its online presence. Her vision includes establishing a global foundation to provide tangible assistance to women in shelters and communities, offering not just material support but also spiritual encouragement.

Randall’s own journey of overcoming suicidal thoughts lends credibility to her message. “My testimony needs to be a testament to somebody else that you can rise from anything,” she affirmed.

“Women Who Rise” recently returned with new episodes this month, promising “more testimonies, more faith, more power, more encouragement, more victory reports to share to help somebody else rise.” As the podcast continues to grow, Randall remains focused on its core message: “You can rise with the help of the Lord, and through Jesus Christ, you can rise,” she said.
