Rev. Jesse Jackson Reportedly Receiving Life Support

(AURN News) — CNN reports that civil rights leader and icon the Rev. Jesse Jackson, 84, is receiving a form of life support. The news outlet reported the detail Sunday, citing a source close to Jackson’s family.
Last week, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition released a statement saying that Jackson had been admitted to the hospital with progressive supranuclear palsy. The group said he had been managing the disease for more than 10 years. The family had asked for prayers.
Rainbow PUSH is a national civil rights organization founded by Jackson in 1971 that focuses on social justice, voting rights and economic equality.
