Tennessee to give Kroger $1M for pharmacy central fill facility in Cleveland

(The Center Square) – Tennessee has promised Kroger $1 million as an incentive for building a Central Fill pharmacy support center in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Tennessee’s Department of Economic and Community Development also agreed to give Walmart $224,000 for a $75 million fulfillment center expansion in Wilson County expected to lead to 70 new jobs.

The 50,000 square-foot Kroger facility is a support center for Kroger pharmacies in the southeastern United States.

It’s the fifth such facility for Kroger in the United States and 140 employees are expected to work there.

The group will also send $4.5 million to Hanon Systems USA for its planned $170 million manufacturing facility in Loudon.
