The Gap In Mental Health Education That Could Save Lives


Public awareness of mental illness may be growing, but true understanding still lags behind. One mother’s experience navigating her child’s mental health crisis inspired her to champion mental health literacy in schools. Today, her organization is working to ensure students, parents, and teachers gain the knowledge to recognize early warning signs and foster informed conversations about mental health.
