WATCH: Illinois In Focus Daily | Tuesday April 8th, 2025

(The Center Square) – In today’s edition of Illinois in Focus Daily, The Center Square Associate Editor Greg Bishop delves into the update to the legal challenge against Illinois’ gun ban with the appeals court laying out the briefing schedule months after getting the case.

Bishop also reviews some of the latest filings in the case of the U.S. Department of Justice suing the state of Illinois, Cook County and the city of Chicago over their migrant sanctuary policies.

Finally, Bishop looks at some of the latest action from the Illinois General Assembly with a bill about price gouging in the Illinois Senate Friday and more than 70 bills passing out of the Illinois House Monday.
