West Virginia AG again calls for Biden to be removed due to mental decline

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is again calling for Vice President Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove President Joe Biden from office.

Morrisey called for Harris to “declare that President Biden was unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”

The second letter comes a day after Biden announced via a letter on social media that he would no longer seek reelection.

Morrisey again pointed to reports from Special Counsel Robert Hur’s investigation showing Biden “ha[d] experienced a profound cognitive decline.”

“Unfortunately, time has confirmed that I was right,” Morrisey wrote. “President Biden has increasingly struggled to conduct himself appropriately in public appearances. In press conferences and interviews, he often seems unable to complete thoughts. He regularly confuses names (Putin for Zielinski), places (Mexico for Egypt), and subjects (“beating Medicare” for some unidentified subject).”

Morrisey’s letter claims the White House has put forth effort to conceal Biden’s mental decline that was made clear in a June debate with former President Donald Trump.

“Since then, leaders from within the Democratic party and others urged President Biden to withdraw from the race, recognizing that the increasingly enfeebled president would be unable to face the rigors of an election,” Morrisey wrote. “And, of course, President Biden has since recognized that those advocates were right—he has declined the Democratic nomination and is now supporting you instead.”
