Yes, the Rich ARE Getting Richer

(AURN News) — The latest USA Report from Henley & Partners reveals that the holds 34% of all global liquid wealth and is home to 37% of the world’s millionaires — more than any other country.

According to the report, more than 6 million high-net-worth individuals now reside in the U.S., with a growing number seeking dual citizenship or foreign residency.

remains at the top with 384,500 millionaires, followed by the San Francisco Bay Area with 342,400 and Los Angeles with 220,600. Other top cities include Chicago with 127,100 millionaires; Houston with 81,800; and Dallas with 72,400. Seattle is home to 53,100 millionaires, while has 45,000; Miami, 38,800; and Austin, 32,000.

The fastest-growing wealth hubs, measured by millionaire population growth from 2014 to 2024, include Scottsdale, Arizona, with a 125% increase; and West Palm Beach, Florida, with 112%. The Bay Area saw a 98% increase; Miami, 94%; and Washington, D.C., 92%.

“Over the past 10 years, the U.S. has surged ahead in wealth generation. From 2014 to 2024, the country’s millionaire population grew by 78%, slightly outpacing China’s 74% and significantly exceeding growth in other nations,” Henley & Partners said in a press release.

Texas cities are leading the wealth expansion. Dallas experienced 85% growth in its millionaire population, while Houston followed closely with a 75% increase.
