Russell M. Perry and three others were recently presented Global Achievement Awards by Sister Cities Oklahoma City.
Mr. Perry, chairman of Perry Publishing & Broadcasting, was presented a Global Humanitarian Award.
The other award recipients were Richard Sias, of the Mustang Fuel Corp., who was presented a Global Vision Philanthropist Award; Mary Blankenship Pointer received a Global Lifetime Achievement Award; and Maj. Gen. (ret.) Billy Bowden was presented a Global Vision Leadership Service Award.
Sister Cities Oklahoma City “promotes peace through mutual respect, understanding and cooperation, and does so one individual, one community at a time,” according to a statement.
