Ebben announces run for Tiffany’s 7th Congressional seat

(The Center Square) – The fallout began quickly from Congressman Tom Tiffany’s announcement that he is running for governor as self-described Trump conservative Jessi Ebben said that she will run for Tiffany’s 7th Congressional seat.

Ebben previously ran for the 3rd Congressional seat and fell to Congressman Derrick Van Orden in the 2022 primary.

“Now more than ever, Wisconsin needs people willing to step into the arena and fight to deliver on President Trump’s effort to Make America Great Again,” Ebben said in her announcement. “Rep. Tiffany has done a fantastic job, and I look forward to continuing his efforts to secure the southern border, stand with Wisconsin law enforcement, unleash American energy, fight to curb wasteful government spending, and deliver lower costs for Wisconsin families.”

Ebben said that she is hoping to become the first Republican woman elected to Congress in Wisconsin.

Ebben is pro-life, supports Wisconsin manufacturing, border security measures and both the Second Amendment and hunting, according to her campaign website.
