Biden campaign has outraised Trump campaign in Colorado

Joe Biden (D) has raised the most money from Colorado state of all presidential candidates, with $1.1 million raised since the start of the campaign cycle. Biden raised $628,617 in the fourth quarter of 2023. Donald Trump (R) has raised the next most from Colorado, with $1.07 million since the start of the campaign and $252,920 in the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter alone, Nikki Haley (R) raised more than Trump but less than Biden with $418,540.

Twenty-three notable presidential candidates, including those who have dropped out of the race, raised a total of $4.2 million from Colorado donors between Jan. 1, 2023, and Dec. 31, 2023. Thirty-five notable candidates raised $35.3 million in Colorado during the 2020 election cycle, while 25 raised $17 million during the 2016 election cycle.

Looking at the top two fundraisers in quarter four — Biden and Haley:

2,476 donors in Colorado donated to Biden’s campaign last quarter.Of those 2,476, the largest share, 762 (31%), donated between $25 and $49.4,293 donors in Colorado donated to Haley’s campaign last quarter. Of those 4,293, the largest share, 1,321 (31%), donated between $25 and $49.

Biden has raised 27% of the money donated in Colorado this election cycle. He received 55% of the vote in 2020. Trump has raised 25% of the money donated in Colorado this election cycle. He received 42% of the vote in 2020.
