Four incumbents file for reelection to Hialeah City Council

On Monday, the filing deadline passed to run for elected office in Hialeah, Florida. Candidates filed for Hialeah City Council.

Four incumbents are running for reelection to the city council. The incumbents are Monica Perez (Group I), Jesús Tundidor (Group II), Jackie Garcia-Roves (Group III), and Vivian Casáls-Muñoz (Group IV). Two additional candidates are running in the primary.

The nonpartisan primary is scheduled for Nov. 7, and the nonpartisan general election is scheduled for Nov. 21.

Hialeah is the sixth-largest city in Florida and the 100th-largest city in the U.S. by population.
