NEGRITUDE: Art on Black Broadway

Howard University’s visual art majors recently participated in the annual visual arts student exhibition, this year’s theme, Negritude, based on DC’s famous Black Broadway. The theme centers around how Black Broadway during the Jim Crow era still inspires generations of Black American expression today. The exhibition took place at Dupont Underground.
