Commissioner Jason Lowe to Host District 1 Town Hall on March 23

OKLAHOMA CITY —Oklahoma County Commissioner Jason Lowe will host a District 1 Town Hall Meeting on Monday, March 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, located at 3600 N Kelley Avenue in Oklahoma City.

The event is open to the public and designed to keep residents informed about important county initiatives while providing an opportunity for community members to ask questions and share feedback.

The town hall will feature several county leaders and community voices who will provide updates on current projects, policies, and services impacting Oklahoma County residents.

Speakers include:

• Lydia Green, Oklahoma County District Judge

• Larry Stein, Oklahoma County Assessor

• Joe Blough, First Deputy, District 1

• Cody Compton, General Counsel, Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office

• Derrick Scobey, Pastor and Trustee, Oklahoma County Jail Trust

Topics expected to be discussed include current infrastructure and county project updates, the Behavioral Health Center, elimination of property taxes and its effects on public schools, and information about Oklahoma County Sheriff property sales.  The meeting will also allow attendees to hear directly from officials and participate in a community dialogue about issues affecting District 1.

“These town hall meetings are an important opportunity to connect directly with residents, share updates on county initiatives, and ensure your voice is heard in the decisions that impact our community,” said Commissioner Lowe.
