Leavitt Responds to Release of Epstein Emails

(AURN News) — Today, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was pressed about newly released Jeffrey Epstein emails made public by House Democrats.
The document raises questions about Epstein’s connections to President Donald Trump and whether Trump ever spent time at Epstein’s home. Leavitt dismissed the allegations outright and insisted that the president did nothing wrong.
She said the administration and the Department of Justice have turned over tens of thousands of documents to the American people.
She repeated that Trump banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago years ago.
But when pressed for transparency — including whether the administration would release all Epstein-related files — Leavitt sidestepped. She accused Democrats of leaking the emails as a distraction from the government shutdown.
Leavitt deflected and left many questions unanswered.
She did not speak to the validity of the emails that were released and instead called them a hoax.
