President’s Approval Plummets Again

(AURN News) — President Donald Trump’s approval rating continues to fall as Americans express growing concern about the U.S. economy. According to the latest AP-NORC poll, the president’s approval on the economy has dropped from 40% in March to 31%. His approval rating on immigration has also declined, falling from 49% in March to 38%.
The poll shows that 61% of adults now disapprove of how he is handling his job, including 74% of independents. On health care, his approval has fallen to 29%, with even Republicans showing their dissatisfaction, declining from 68% approval to 59%.
When it comes to views of the current economy, 68% say they very or somewhat, or lean toward believing the economy is in poor shape. The poll was conducted December 4-8 among 1,146 adults across the country.
