Harris Signals Possible 2028 Presidential Run

(AURN News) — Former Vice President Kamala Harris said Friday that she is considering a 2028 presidential run, offering her clearest public signal yet about her political future.

Speaking with the Rev. Al Sharpton at the National Action Network convention, Harris said she is thinking seriously about another campaign.

The former Democratic nominee drew strong support from the crowd, with chants urging her to run again.

She pointed to her four years as vice president, highlighting time spent in the West Wing, the Oval Office and the Situation Room as key preparation for the presidency.

Harris, who released a memoir in 2025 and has been traveling nationwide, said the country’s current direction is failing many Americans.
