Perry Publishing & Broadcasting’s Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway: A Tradition of Gratitude and Generosity

Date:

As the holiday season approaches, Perry Publishing & Broadcasting (PPBC, Inc.) is proud to announce its upcoming Annual Community Thanksgiving Turkey Drive and Giveaway. For decades, this cherished tradition has been a source of hope and warmth for struggling families in Tulsa, Northwest Arkansas and on the Northeast side of Oklahoma City. We are excited to continue this heartwarming initiative and invite you to be a part of it.

For over 20 years, PPBC, Inc. has been at the forefront of providing support and assistance to families facing poverty and hardship during Thanksgiving. Our Annual Community Thanksgiving Turkey Drive is more than just a turkey giveaway; it is an embodiment of gratitude, kindness, and community spirit.

This year, we are set to distribute hundreds of free turkeys to those in need. The turkey giveaway will take place on Friday, November 17th, 2023, right here in Oklahoma City. We have chosen a centrally located venue for your convenience: our parking lot at 1457 NE 23rd in Oklahoma City. We encourage you to mark this date on your calendar and join us in spreading the warmth of the season.

An event of this magnitude would not be possible without the generous support of individuals, businesses, and organizations. We rely on sponsorships to make this vital service available to our less fortunate community members. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated sponsors who have been an integral part of this initiative. Their support has made a significant impact, and we are proud to acknowledge their contributions:

  1. Nerissa Berry Insurance Agency
  2. Riverside Gardens Cemetery
  3. OG&E (Oklahoma Gas and Electric)
  4. Tinker Federal Credit Union
  5. Mercedes-Benz of Oklahoma City
  6. Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City
  7. Alchemy Mink Virgin Hair and Boutique
  8. Guiding Right Inc.
  9. Anna’s Beauty Supply
  10. Power 103.5
  11. Heart and Soul 92.1 & 1140
  12. CBS Sports Radio 105.3FM
  13. The Black Chronicle Newspaper
  14. Perry Publishing & Broadcasting Company

The support from these sponsors has not only enabled us to continue our tradition but also expand our reach, ensuring that more families experience the joy of a Thanksgiving meal.

This Thanksgiving, we invite you to be a part of our annual charitable tradition. Your financial contributions, sponsorship, or volunteering will make a difference. By supporting our Annual Community Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, you are helping us provide not only turkeys but also a sense of kindness and support to those who need it the most. In the spirit of giving, your support means a lot to us and the families we serve.

Thanksgiving is a time for reflection, gratitude, and coming together as a community. Perry Publishing & Broadcasting (PPBC, Inc.) embraces these values, and our Annual Community Thanksgiving Turkey Drive and Giveaway is a testament to our commitment to making a positive impact. We encourage you to join us on November 17th, 2023, in Oklahoma City, or support our mission in any way you can.
