Home to the city of Cody, Park County has a population of 29,664 people, 23.3% of whom are retirement age.
One reason the county stands out among other parts of the state is the concentration of primary care physicians. There are 122.9 doctors for every 100,000 people in the county, compared to just 70.1 per 100,000 across the state as a whole.
